Where You Water It

The writer’s lettuce

Not long ago, lettuce was considered a weed — perhaps not harmful, though nothing special. Now, a good part of the world consumes it in salads close to every day.

Reclaiming health may be just like the journey of lettuce:

from not-knowing, and not knowing its value, to daily use.

Find ways to make your blessings work, using the condiments of your mind on satisfying (enough) conditions. Too many people get bored too soon by what they consider annoying about themselves and are trying to “weed” out, while it is exactly those common conditions that have the capacity to nurture them.

The grass is green where you water it. Ooommm, lettuce is greener where you water it.
